'Our Facilities'
Primary training takes place in the Recreation Capital of Canada, The Comox Valley and features;
- The finest West Coast weather in British Columbia. We are situated near the waterfront with the Pacific Ocean at our doorstep. The Emerald Sea has an incredible diversity of marine life making diving here world class. Minutes from our location are found a plethora of natural and artificial reefs.
- Our classrooms are laid out within a 2500+ square foot full service dive centre with the latest state-of-the-art multi-media presentation equipment, our clients not only receive a diver education, but experience it as well.
- Moored near our classrooms is our small fleet of coast guard approved training vessels ranging from 28' to 55'. Each boat is staffed by a trained crew who have over 15 years experience in the west coast dive charter business.
- On site is a well stocked showroom of specialized diving products guaranteed to meet all of your needs including a sphisticated air fill and mixed gas blending station. Also located in house are full retail and servicing departments as well as a commercial video editing system.
- The Comox Valley is a great place to explore with the Gulf Islands just a short ferry ride from our Academy's docks. Visiting divers take advantage of our excellent skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing and beach combing - our comfortable climate is ideal for year round recreation pursuits.
- A short five minute walk from our campus are diver friendly accommodations that include kitchen suites, equipment rinse down, secured equipment storage, complimentary tea & coffee, remote TV's with Movie Channel and Ocean views.
